carlitos perez: For me, The Animals are great, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, you bring an animal to it at any time and they accept it, and that without doing a thousand protocols, such as just entering a decontamination curtain. Magic wand do not have, but in other veterinary centers either, being a veterinarian I imagine that means having to be learning / studying every day, and more on virus issues. And they take good care of my kids when I take them. What can they improve on things? Surely, like everyone else, they have a very close relationship so you can talk to them about anything. I sincerely and particularly am happy, and they charge me, they do not give it to me for free, so I do not have to applaud anyone.

Beth Nicholson: I’ve brought my little dog to ChuecaVet however have had a recent bad experience and won’t be returning. My dog suffers from separation anxiety and I initially worked with their behavioural specialist to resolve it. As the treatment wasn’t working, he was also prescribed medication to help with the anxiety. I continued to try the exercises but they weren’t working so was recommended a different qualified dog trainer who had a great deal of experience with separation anxiety. My dog started to make progress and I worked with the trainer for a few months and now continue to train my dog to leave him alone daily. He’s still taking medication which the vet has always been fine with. Today I went to get another prescription for his anxiety medication and the vet told me she couldn’t give me the medication unless I was with their behavioural therapist. I explained her method wasn’t working and it was also bad for my dog to stop the medication all of a sudden. It’s worth noting a few months ago I also offered to put their behavioural therapist in touch with my dog trainer to make sure they were legit and the behavioural therapist didn’t call her. In the end I got my prescription today after arguing for 20 minutes but won’t be returning. The vet was very unhelpful and it was very stressful.
A Duffey: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maria and her staff. She is always happy to see us, and she is incredibly kind and gentle with our sweet pets Charlie and Ozzy. She works very hard to determine a dx, and she then plans the best course of treatment and goes over all of the information with you before proceeding. This is the best vet that I have ever been to, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing English speaking vet. Muchas gracias por todo María!

Cassandra River: Im an English speaker and my Spanish is so so. But every time I’ve brought my dog here, she is treated with the utmost respect and the workers here have always been so kind and slow in explaining things to me. I have had a better experience here than any vet in the US. Seriously. They worry about your dogs comfort and scaring them. They even asked me if I’d like to go get my dog from her kennel bc she was scared. No vet has ever given me that option. They also allowed me to hold my dog as she was being sedated for her teeth cleaning. Now my dog has a heart murmur and they have given us the best care ever. Can not recommend enough! Muchísimas gracias!!!

Mike Mahoney: We just arrived from the US with our dog flying cargo with American Airlines. Everything went very smoothly and there were no issues with the vet check or customs. Communication was great, and with both the US vet and Dr. Nave in Spain we were able to accomplish this task without the need for a pet transport service. Nothing against using them but it was proving difficult our dates were changing due to heat concerns and we wanted our dog to fly on the same flight. AAH/Dr. Nave is highly recommended.
Jose Gonzalez: We boarded our dogs Champ and Ritz at AAH on several occasions, including during a 6 week long summer trip we took to the US while living in Madrid. During the time they spent at AAH, we saw many happy pictures of the boys playing outside. They were both in great health and spirits when we returned to Spain. AAH made boarding easy by picking our dogs up and dropping them back off at our apartment in the city. In addition to boarding, AAH helped with our dogs relocation, when we moved to Madrid and when we returned to the US. The process went smoothly in both directions. And last but not least, AAH provided the routine vet services we need while we lived in Spain. Appointments were easy to book and on time, and our dogs were always well taken care of.

The cat had been so scared while under bombs during russian invasión in Ukraine, and had been so-o-o tired while fleeing from war to Spain with us , trying to hide wherever he could on our long drive. It took him long before he could feel safe and relaxed. Still, when we visited the AAH vet clinics, he was always calm and not scared at all. Mare: Ive been taking my dog here since she was a puppy and the staff is generous and caring. They have helped with every phase from planning and scheduling her spading (dr hector called the minute she was out of surgery to tell me how everything went), issuing euro passport and completing travel docs to travel to usa (includng directions on completing process w ministry of agriculture), small emergencies, vaccinations, and even small periodic things like getting her nails clipped. I highly recommend bringing your pets here. They have a large staff and are most always available, their hours of operation are 6 days a week all day, prices are affordable. They also have a good selection of food, accessories, and toys. I cannot recommend this place enough for your pets. The one thing i would suggest is that they should have at least one partially english speaking staff member but that is just a minor detail as they are patient with my spanish .

I have been taking my cat there for more than 8 years (with the occasional scare included) and I would not change it for another clinic. Hector, Bea and the entire team are charming and super professional.
Mar Lopez: Well, we are very happy... In fact, we crossed all of Madrid by car because a friend from the neighborhood recommended it to us and at least Hector... The one who treats our cats is super friendly and careful with them and makes it very easy for them since they arrive stressed .. With the rest of the staff I have not spoken except for the girl who should be an assistant or something like that who is also very kind and it is something that I value a lot. Along with honesty ..
Bruno Redondo: Very bad experience. I have gone with my 4-month-old puppy to get a vaccine and after 5 visits, the dog is still not vaccinated and on top of that, every time I have gone they have charged me for a different test or service. They are nice, but the service is not good because each time someone different takes care of you and the feeling I leave with as a customer is that they are more to charge for everything than to be effective and really help the dog. Likewise, I have communicated my discontent and no solution has been given to me. I do not recommend it.

Isabel Blanco Fernandez: Today we have taken Nova to the hairdresser and, as always, she has been delighted. He was very afraid of the water, but since he goes with Cristina he has overcome it. Ray Falkenberg: Our cat needed sudden (though not urgent) medical attention. Having just moved to Madrid, I had no idea where to go. Clinica Veterinaria Anton Martin is around the corner from our flat, and based on the stellar reviews I decided to call them first. I could not be more pleased with the service I received. Even though they had no available appointments for the rest of the evening, they fit me in within a half hour. The admitting process was quick and professional, and the doctor saw me within minutes. Dr. Miguel provided a patient, thorough, and very kind examination and consultation. The front office assistant and Dr. Miguel both speak excellent English, and prices are quite fair (particularly compared to the US). Highly recommended.

Daniel LR: They operated on us (a man named Miguel) on our snow rabbit on the knee (dislocated), they left her lame, worse than before, then she caught an infection from the operation and they opened her (half operated) three times to not find nothing in the end, 5 months have passed and she is a little better but still worse than before the operation, they have not returned ANY money to us, they have kept everything after leaving her worse than before...
Gema P.: I came to this clinic by chance because it is where they took the guinea pig that I adopted from the shelter and without a doubt I will stay with them, even though I have an exotic one 5 minutes from my house. Alberto Rodríguez Izquierdo: Professionalism and impeccable treatment. We took a rabbit that we bought a few days ago that came from the store with a constipation and the store did not want to take care of the rabbit, blaming us. At the clinic, both the receptionist and the veterinarian, Miguel, advised and helped us at all times, diagnosing and treating the rabbit, teaching us how to administer the medication and, in turn, explaining to us that the infection came from the store and issuing a report so that we could claim to it. Krisnawati Desi Purnawestri: I love this veterinary clinic! They’re so attentive, the vet and staffs always take the time to explain to you and make sure all is good. Apart of the routine treatment for my senior dog, I had to rush to the emergency for several times as well for both my dogs, and really, their attention to them were thorough, gentle, so it didn’t scare them at all. Amara 30: Generally, we always leave quite happy, today especially we went with Vibor and we were attended by a Canarian girl (I think her name is Sara and she has a dog; Watermelon) super nice, she treated us with a lot of love and was interested in Vibor without only looking at economic interest , which is appreciated because it is one of the few times I leave a vet without the feeling that they have tried to get the most money out of me.
